A little about me

After a rewarding 15-year career as a southern California elementary school teacher specializing in math, Heather changed careers in 2006 for real estate. She and her husband moved to Colorado, where she received her real estate license. “It was great, because it combined the personal touch with the analytical, data side,” she notes.

In 2007, after their child was born, the couple moved back to southern California—yet six months later moved to Austin for her husband David’s new job. Heather reentered the real estate market, dabbling in house flips and other investment opportunities. In 2016, she earned her Texas real estate license, intending to work with a developer.

She began looking for an agency but didn’t find one that aligned well with her dual interests—a deep passion for helping people and her keen interest in data and analytics. Meeting Anne-Marie and learning about Intelligent Real Estate solved that problem!

“I don’t have to change at all,” says Heather. “Our missions are already aligned. Anne-Marie is so down to earth, with a fabulous balance. She’s a great example of a woman business owner: analytical, logical, AND loving and compassionate.” At Intelligent Real Estate, Heather specializes in relocations, renovations, and investment properties.

Heather is married to David, a semiconductor executive. The couple are parents to a 12-year old soccer-loving middle schooler who keeps them on their toes.
